Straight answers
Before you hand us a permit
Who signs the report?
You do. Federal rules require a responsible corporate officer to certify the report, and that can't be delegated to a vendor. We prepare it, check it, and put it in front of the right person to sign. Where a state additionally requires a licensed engineer or certified operator, we flag it before you start.
Do you collect the samples?
No. Sampling and lab analysis stay with you and your certified lab — we work with the lab you already use, and can suggest one in your area if you don't have a preference. What we do is make sure the right samples were taken at the right frequency, and tell you when one is coming due.
What if a result is over the limit?
We show it before you file, with the clause of your permit that applies and the reporting obligation that comes with it — some exceedances require notice within 24 hours. We never adjust or omit a result. The report has to match the lab data, and helping you hide an exceedance would be the one thing that turns a fine into a criminal matter.
I already missed a deadline. Can you help?
Usually, yes. A late report filed voluntarily is treated very differently from one an inspector finds. We'll prepare the outstanding filings, show you what the gap looks like on the record, and lay out the disclosure options. If your situation calls for an environmental attorney, we'll tell you that instead of taking your money.

Anywhere NetDMR is used, plus states that run their own portal. Coverage is per permit type rather than per state — the fastest answer is to upload your permit and see what comes back. It costs nothing and takes about a minute.
Who can see my discharge data?
Your data is yours, and it isn't sold or shared. Worth knowing regardless: once a DMR is filed, the results are public record in EPA's ECHO database. Your neighbors and your customers can already look them up — which is a reason to know your own numbers before someone else quotes them to you.
